This was Josh's first game of backgammon. As such, I probably had a small advantage. But since I'm not good, it was just a small advantage. Though we'll keep track of our games... As such, we are currently 2 to 1. Note: A backgammon would be worth a 3.

We decided to start using the doubling cube after two games and to keep track of our games starting from that point. So Josh and I are currently 8-2.

In our first game, I doubled to 2. But then Josh doubled to 4 and I declined. So he won 2. He was definitely in a position to win, his pieces were blockading 2-6. If he didn't double, then he stood a chance to gammon for 4, but he had chose to double and end the game with a sure win of 2. In our second game, the doubling cube doubled on a double and then eventually Josh doubled but I won. At least I think he was the one to double. In our third game, Josh eventually doubled and I was behind. It was close to the end of the game and it was a race so I forfeited and so Josh won 1. We played it out and indeed he won.

Fourth game. I went first. I think it was a 3 4. Josh was leading, but I gained an edge and I double his double and in the end I won 4 pts.
