The first game was pretty close. Kim-Sun was up and we were down by 6, thus 4 hard cards was the way to win (something I didn't know at the time, but Phuong knew we had to do 4 hard cards). Had we missed one hard the game would have been tied: [MSPK] (28) [SDJM] (26+Trophy). The second game we decided to play only easy cards, because usually we move through the hard cards more than the easy cards. Plus some of the easy cards can be more difficult than the hard cards. In any case, the word [SDJM] missed was "telephone," because saying "phone" isn't enough to win the card. There was argument that we don't call it a "telephone" nowadays, so "phone" should be accepted. But that's ridiculous, and I think one of the best arguments brought forth is, would you accept "tube" for "television"? No. My arguments were that as long as you get your team members to say the word on the card you're good to go, otherwise, try again. Example: Word is "vision." Someone says "television." Good. Word is "television." Someone says "t.v." No good. Word is "jump." Someone says "jumping." Good. Word is "jumping." Someone says "jump." No good. Word is "foul." Someone says "fowl." Good.
